Biography
Jordan George is Secwépemc and a member of the Esk’etemc First Nation. He lives in Abbotsford, B.C., on the traditional and unceded territories of the Semá:th (Sumas), Mathxwí (Matsqui), and Leq’á:mel First Nations, all part of the Stó:lō Nation. With over fifteen years of experience, Jordan is an Indigenous business leader, HR professional, and entrepreneur specializing in Indigenous economic development, organizational operations, and community leadership. He is currently the Program Manager for Indigenous Graduate Programs at the Beedie School of Business, SFU.
Jordan is committed to support all those he serves, having assisted many people, organizations and communities during his tenure in various industries; including serving for eleven years on the Kamloops Aboriginal Friendship Society board, including as Vice President and Treasurer. His diverse experience is highly transferable and will support him in his new role.
