Research Assistant Opportunity - FHS Accreditation Self-study
Research Assistant – FHS Accreditation Self-study
Work is underway to prepare for a visit in October 2022 from the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) as part of the accreditation of the FHS MPH and Undergraduate Programs. FHS is seeking a Research Assistant to support this work.
Purpose: To provide support to the Ad Hoc Accreditation Committee, to compile and analyze data required for accreditation, to support the development of the self-study report, and to help plan and coordinate logistics for the Accreditation site visit. The research assistant will work closely with the Director of Accreditation and Professional Programs and the Public Health Program Coordinator to identify existing FHS data sources, analyze data, prepare tables to present data, assist with self-study report preparation including proof-reading and formatting and assist in planning of the site visit meetings.
Experience/Qualifications: An undergraduate degree in a related discipline is required. Preference will be given to a 2nd year MPH student or Alumnus with strong communication and organizational skills, and experience in program evaluation, conducting interviews/focus groups and data analysis. Proficiency in the use of the following: Survey Monkey to design and analyze surveys; SAS and/or SPSS to collect and analyze data; Excel to generate spreadsheets, sort and filter data and produce data tables; and Word to prepare and format a complex and formal professional report.
Term: January 2022 to October 30 2022. Hours will vary from 15-22 hours per week.

Compensation: $22-25/hr depending on experience/qualifications
