Job Opportunity - Research Project Coordinator, Women's Health Research Institute
Job Summary
The Research Project Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing research protocols, conducting data analysis; identifying funding sources and developing grant applications and assisting in the preparation of manuscripts for scholarly publications. The work will focus on several grant funded Global Health centred HPV and STI related research studies being conducted through the Women's Health Research Institute, in the department of Global Control of HPV Related Diseases, led by Dr. Gina Ogilvie.
Organizational Status
The position is in the School of Population and Public Health (SPPH), which is in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. The School is an innovative unit that encompasses many of the health-related groupings at UBC as a collaborative venture. The School is structured around four divisions: Occupational and Environmental Health; Health Services and Policy; Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Public Health Practice; and Health in Populations. The resulting mix of professions and disciplines is seen as a means of connecting individuals and learners to galvanize the relationship between health research, public health and health services and to enhance learning.
