2025 was a year full of awards, incredible accomplishments and significant transitions for the faculty and students at the SFU Faculty of Health Sciences.
Many FHS undergraduates, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows were recognized with prestigious research awards for academic excellence and community contributions. Several faculty members were awarded significant research awards, including two Canada Research Chairs, and were also recognized for their incredible accomplishments by their peers. We welcomed a new dean - Dr. David Bangsberg - and celebrated the successful degree completions of 350 new alumni!
