The FHS “Indigenization, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (I-EDI) Student Learning Circle” is a facilitated learning cohort where participants collectively learn, reflect, and share knowledge on topics related to I-EDI.
We will gather over the course of the Spring term (Feb-Mar 2026) to discuss and engage with thematic activities, questions, prompts, and reflections.
Participating in the circle is free and open for any FHS undergraduate student of all levels of knowledge and experience on I-EDI are welcome.
The Learning Circle will be co-facilitated by FHS undergraduate students Sarah Raufi and Katrina Shmig.
Registration is required as space is limited! Registered participants are asked to commit to attending all three sessions due to the nature of our shared work in the Learning Circle.
Those who attend all sessions will receive recognition on their SFU Co-Curricular Record.
We will also be serving food/snacks at our in-person session.
Please email sra148@sfu.ca if you have questions or want to know more about the Learning Circle before registering.
