Métis writer Matthew Tétreault speaks at SFU

Métis author Matthew Tétreault will join us for two events at Simon Fraser University's Burnaby campus (Diamond Alumni Centre: Thompson Room).

  • May 15, 2025 (17h45): Tétreault will present a trilingual (Michif, English, French) reading and discussion of his novel Hold Your Tongue.
  • May 16, 2025 (8h30): a conference entitled “La laang d’icitte: disseu lii histwayrs di Michif d’la rivyayr roozh.”

Part of the La voix des mots conference, these events are co-sponsored by the Indigenous Voices Awards and Simon Fraser University's Department of Indigenous Studies. The events with Matthew Tétreault are free and open to the public.
