How to apply

Applying to the program

Before applying, you might want to review this help video. Then:

Step One: Apply on EducationPlannerBC

  • Go to https://apply.educationplannerbc.ca/sfu.jsp

  • Select Simon Fraser University then under Program Selection:

    • select from the drop-down list of faculties: Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences

    • select from the drop-down list of programs, including your intended major: Accelerated Law: (Major) SFU-EXETER (available only in Fall)

Step Two: Activate Your Account

  • You will receive an email with your 9-digit SFU Student Number and password. This will be sent to the email address you used to fill out the EducationPlannerBC application. Use your SFU Student Number and password to sign into your Student Centre within goSFU to activate your account.

Step Three: Submit Your Supplemental Application

  • You can begin to work on your Supplemental Application once you gain access to your Application To-Do List within goSFU (see Step 2 above). There, you will find a link to the Supplemental Application form.

Step Four: Submit Your Marks and Documents

Supplemental Application

All applicants to the SFU-Exeter Accelerated Law Program are required to submit a Supplemental Application in the form of a Personal Statement alongside their application on EducationPlannerBC. Your responses help us build a more complete picture of who you are and assess your readiness for the opportunities and challenges of this accelerated pathway.

The Personal Statement consists of a written response and a recorded video response.

Note: The Supplemental Application fee is separate from the SFU application fee.
