Hey everyone! I'm Mara, an upcoming third-year Computing Science student and one of your WiCS Co-Presidents for the 2025–2026 term. I love that WiCS is a space to grow both technical and social skills while uplifting women and non-binary individuals in CS. As Co-President, I'm excited to support members and help foster a welcoming, empowering community. In my free time, I enjoy singing, playing guitar, and creating multimedia like graphic design and video edits.

The Secretary records minutes of all meetings and is responsible for updating and overseeing the maintenance and development of the club website.

Hello!! I'm Maria, a second-year SoSy student :)) In my spare time, I love to read, go on nature walks, and occasionally bake when the mood strikes. I'm SO excited to be joining this year's exec team as Secretary!! I can't wait to flex my typing skills by taking meeting minutes while keeping all WiCS members in the loop :D

Hi! I'm Aniyah, a 4th year Computer Science and Math student and I'm so excited to be joining the WiCS team as Director of Sponsorships. The Communications Coordinator responds to email correspondence sent to wics@sfu.ca, crafts weekly newsletters, manages the WiCS calendar updates and WiCS event reminders.

Hi, I'm Bhakti Bhanushali, Co-Director of Technical Events at SFU WiCS! Strangely, I actually hated computers growing up. It wasn't until a random computing course in my first year that I realized how much I love problem-solving. Outside of tech, I'm big on puzzles and cooking (mostly because I love eating). As an executive, I'm hoping to host events that spark curiosity, build skills, and leave people excited to dive deeper into tech.
