Being able to use the coding skills I was developing to empiricially address linguistic problems was so exciting! I was able to start research as an undergrad under the advisement of Dr. Abigail Kaplan, and presented the undergraduate research project she advised at my first ever research conference — the Linguistic Society of America.”
