Giving Day 2026

Giving Day is a 24-hour celebration of philanthropy when everyone in our community comes together to create transformational change. For the first time in SFU history, our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends are uniting on a single day to raise funds in support of causes you care about—and to make a difference where it matters most to you.

When: 24-hours starting March 26 at 9:00 a.m.

Game on! Step into a night of retro nostalgia in Toronto. With unlimited access to over 70 classic arcade games and pinball machines included with entry, you'll have all night to challenge your fellow alumni between rounds of great eats and beverages. Come for the games, stay for the company!

Please join us on Thursday, April 16 for the 2026 SFU Outstanding Alumni Awards in Vancouver as we honour visionaries, creators, changemakers, and community builders whose many contributions are shaping a more inclusive, sustainable future.

SFU Alumni Hockey Night in Edmonton | Oilers vs. Canucks

Join fellow alumni and celebrate the end of the NHL regular season at Rogers Place, where the Edmonton Oilers face the Vancouver Canucks!

Alumni Dinner in Hong Kong

Connect with fellow alumni over a Japanese-influenced contemporary dining experience at Honjo. The dinner and beverages will be provided.

This is one of our most in-demand alumni events, and space is limited. Register to join our guest pool, from which 14 guests will be randomly selected and notified on April 6.

SFU's 60th Anniversary Alumni & Friends Reception in Hong Kong
