June 8 - 12: Convocation season is here!

Next week the Burnaby campus will be full of graduands, accompanied by their family and friends, as they officially become part of the alumni community. It’s an exciting milestone that may bring back memories of your own time walking through the AQ gardens and across the stage!

In addition, The Honourable Janet Austin, Gordon Ball, David Turpin, and steadfast SFU supporters Ryan Beedie (business leader and philanthropist) and Gloria Gutman (pioneering scholar and advocate) will receive honourary degrees.

Alumni Council profile: Kulvir Kaila

Kulvir Kaila (BSc ’99) says earning his degree from SFU’s School of Computing Science was a launchpad for a career defined by innovation, exploration, and continual learning.
