VPFA Search Community Consultation
Members of the community are invited to participate in this important process and share with the Search Committee the qualities, attributes and types of experience they feel the successful VPFA candidate should possess. This feedback will help shape the candidate profile, a document that will be used in the recruitment and evaluation of candidates.
The consultation process for this search occured from June 1 - June 14, 2026. Thank you to everyone who participated in this important process for the university.

Collection notice
The President's Office collects personal information on behalf of SFU under the authority of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (RSBC 1996, c.165), and in accordance with GP 29. The personal information collected includes your affiliation and your feedback regarding the VPFA position description and candidate profile. The information will be disclosed to the VPFA Search Committee and may be disclosed to SFU’s Board of Governors.
